Work Flow
Interview, Proposal of Quotation and Design Work Schedule
Through the interview, we understand project information such as business type, scale, schedule. We conduct site inspections as needed. Based on interviews, site visits and architectural/Interior drawings, quotation and work schedule will be proposed.
1 – Conceptual Design Stage
We prepare Conceptual Lighting Design Proposals with comprehended on the goal of the project. This will be presented to the Client in colour keyed plans, sections and elevations, sketch details and image boards.
2 – Schematic Design Stage
We communicate with client and professional consultants to finalize the design and function criteria, the lighting design program and basic considerations. Schematic Lighting Layout and Fixtures Specifications reflecting in-line with the Client and Operator requirements will be developed.
3 -Design Development Stage
After the Schematic Design is approved, Lighting Fixtures Layout and Circuit Groupings will be produced. This information is able to use for Coordination with M&E Consultant and for Cost Estimation.
Lighting Effect could be tested by integrating lighting fixture into Visual mock-up to discuss the actural lighting effect among all relevant parties.
Where lighting is to be built into a special installation, we will provide detailed section to give the necessary dimensions and material for the architect/interior designers to coordinate for construction drawings.
4 – Final Design Documentation Stage
We further develop the design and prepare Final Design Documentation. The conclusion from Lighting Mock-up Review shall be reflected into the package. Lighting Fixtures Cut Sheets are prepared providing description of fitting, the type of lamp to be used and photometric performance, size and any specific modification or accessories required.
5 – Construction Administration Stage
We will be responsible for the vetting of all equivalents suggested by the Suppliers and ensure that the quality follows the specification. We attend interview meetings and give advices on technical items as necessary.
Based on our final design documents, we work with contractor and electrical consultant to supervise construction. We review and approve construction drawings and lighting fixtures specification and propose a professional solution to any problems that occur at site or make a site adjustment as is necessary.
Completion Inspection will be conducted with the lighting designer, the owner and the contractor.
